AMPORT TROUT FISHERY RULES

• A valid Ticket must be purchased before fishing may begin - strictly Fly Fishing only!

• All fish caught must be retained - there is no catch and release policy at the fishery.

• All anglers must have landing nets and priests. 

• All fish caught must be weighed and recorded in the fishery log in the fishing shed.

• All anglers must have a current and correct fishing license for the day.

• Please wear suitable clothing - no beachwear.

• Please do not leave lengths of line, flies, or litter around the fishery.

• On reaching your limit you must stop fishing but you are more than welcome to purchase extra tickets.

• No wading or swimming in the lake.

• No shared rods.

• Please do NOT gut your fish anywhere on the premises.

• Children are very welcome but are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

• Well behaved dogs by prior permission only.

• Please turn the sound off on mobiles while fishing. Our fish do not bite when ringtones disturb the peace!

If you break these rules you may be asked to leave the fishery.
